Are these pictures good for a 14 year old? |

Yes. For a 14 year old, you show quite a good eye. Some areas you might look to improve would be in the placement of your primary subject. I noticed most of your interesting subjects are right in the middle of the photo. That can be boring. Experiment with putting the interesting part a little off to one side and giving the subject more of a context. Also, has anyone told you about the rule of thirds? A photo will feel more balanced if the horizon, or floor, is located either one third from the bottom or one third from the top. Sometimes, it's best to take a larger picture than you need and to try different croppings. Also, try a lot of different exposures of the same subject. I agree with your professor, that you show great promise. If you do not have a digital camera, get one. Then you can shoot to your heart's content, and toss out the pix that didn't come up to your expectations. Very nice. Yes. They show alot of potential. very good. you can capture a very good sense of emotion and thought. good work! Your pictures are great!! yes they are. I especially like the one of the flower. Wow. Quite good for anyone, let alone a teenager. You might try placing the subject off-center, or crop the images slightly as previously suggested Color correction is a matter of style and taste and perception, so you might try some variance of hue in the last two to see if you prefer them in a warmer tone. Keep it up. |
