What courses should i take in high school if i want to do something with journalism/photography? Just that! Exactly what you said. Journalism classes and photography classes. Other important classes are English and Digital Graphics, Productions, etc. Taking English class will help you write better. You could make a portfolio out of the things you do in these classes to showcase to colleges and professors. Photography of course English Grammar and Composition If the school has a student newspaper you should work on that, also the school yearbook. Take photography and Journalism if possible. Certainly work on the school paper, but don't neglect other core classes. Any school that you attend will have core requirements. And the best Journalism schools, such as Syracuse's Newhouse School of Journalism, have high standards. |
