Photography/art courses in liverpool/merseyside? |
Hey, im a student, originally from london but started my degree in liverpool three months ago. studying media and im really interested in photography and art, if there is anyone from liverpool/merseyside that can point me in the direction of any evening classes in these areas id be really greateful, cheers dudes HI there is Open Eye still in business?If so there is probably someone there who will be able to help you. Here are a couple of suggestions for you. No.1 Contact the Bluecoat Chambers, they are an arts centre & arts organisation and are based right in the city centre. They will almost certainly know how to help you better than I can. No.2 Liverpool now has the Tate Art Gallery which you will find on the dock road, Again enquire there I'm sure they will give you further pointers. No.3 For photography specifically in Liverpool, you could try contacting the South Liverpool Photographic Society & again they can put you in touch with other photographic things going on in the city. (look in the local phone book for contact details for all these suggestions or even a quick Yahoo or Google.com search). Hope that's of use? Best Regards IR I used to go to the Arts Centre on Myrtle Street in the city centre. They did a City&Guilds evening course mostly based around black and white photography.
