Photo Arts/Photography
Photography is a broad field that includes specialized professions such as documentary photography, photojournalism, reportage, artistic photography, portrait photography, and more. Photography is widely used in communications and design as an effective means of conveying information, finding use in areas like business advertising, desktop publishing, scientific imaging, web site design, and merchandise marketing. Training to become a photographer entails learning about photography theory, image composition, technical and equipment support, digital imaging, etc. Salaries for photographers vary widely; low-level positions start at $30,000, while senior photographers can earn in excess of $80,000. Most photographers receive an Associates or Bachelors degree and grow with increasing amounts of field work and job experience. To learn more about education in photographic arts and photojournalism, request free information packets from the schools listed below.

Good Luck!

Well, these are really broad subjects. Try narrowing your search (use google!).
Use a specific type of photography, i.e. fashion photography, portrait photography, et cetera, to find a job description. Also, go on the sites of photography colleges to find out degrees and cost. for example, the Rhode Island School of Design (www.risd.edu)
