How do i find out what small publications are in my area? |
I am in school for photography and we dont have our own newsletter or anything like that. I want to get photo passes for concerts and such. I saw in another question the suggestion to ask little magazines or newspapers for the job to shoot it. I can't find any. Well, most concert venue's will only issue photo passes to press photographers (newspaper, magazine, online, etc.). You may have to get creative. Maybe contact some online publications and ask if they need shots from that event. You will also probably have to provide some kind of portfolio for them to consider you for this. The community at onlinelitmag.com can probably help with that. I'm sure there is someone in your area that is a member of your website. |
