hi ive become very interested in the career of becoming a photographer,,,
what can you tell me about cameras for photography?!
are there any photographers out there how are your jobs what kind of photography do you do ?!
what can you tell me about photography thanxs..

Glamor, publishing. EOS-1 Mark III ds

Studio Portrait. Nikon D2x or Canon 5D

News, photojournalism D200, D2x, D3. Something sealed.

what kind of photography are you going into?

i recommend either a Nikon D40/D40X/D80 or Canon 350D/400D.

they're only beginner dslrs but you can learn a lot from them starting off. once you get the hang of it, you can upgrade to pros.

photography is one of the hardest industries you can break into. the best way i learnt was from taking on paid work w/ more experienced photographers. of course, taking a photography course always helps because they are so many photographers these days that talent is overlooked for credentials.

if you want feedback for your work, try an art site such as deviantart.com or flickr.com.

Equipment is the LEAST of your concerns.

Here's a brief rundown of career options in this field:

- commercial (two years college)
- wedding (apprentice with wedding photog or go to college)
- photojournalism and editorial (two years college)
- portrait (job with pro, WalMart)
- stock (www.shutterstock.com)
- freelance (get a copy of Photographers' Market from amazon.com)
- pets (same as portrait)

Yes, you can shortcut this but don't count on it.

Three other things:

....very few people actually make enough from photography alone to raise a family

....equipment is dictated by what type of photography you go into

....the number one thing overlooked by pros is business sense -- get some!
