Possible move from FL to NYC..? |
...in a year? (I'm 16 btw. NO SCHOOL. I stress that part.) I'm hoping to find a job within the next two months. i would just do it and figure it all out as i go along. the worst thing that could happen (that's not a matter of life and death) is that it totally falls apart for you and you have to leave. but in the meantime you would have had the adventure of your life. If you're not eighteen, there are labor laws in New York that would not allow you to work after a certain time at night (on a school night) and you wouldn't be able to work a full-time job.I'm not sure how it works if you're not in school, but you definitely have to file paper work in order to do a full time shift. I would say, since you are 16 save up for 5 years. First nobody in NY or NJ will rent to some one under 18. Stay your butt back in Florida. You gonna be homeless in 2 weeks, if you plan to come up to NYC. you cant afford it and you are uneducated. You know what New York does with its trash dump it in Brooklyn and New Jersey. when you get here contact me and I will try to help you out...I am from NJ about 20 minutes from NYC....Good Luck!!! |
