I need to get toned and fit, but how? |
I'm about 5'7 and weigh about 145, I'm not fat just not toned...& it seems to all sit in my love handle area... My problem is I live with 2 guys and it's really hard to eat right when money's tight and the majority rule as take out... I don't eat really bad, I'm not really into junk food< i don't drink soda and never get fast food, but pasta and breads are a majority of what I eat alot of the times... My breakfast is usually, raisin bran or friuts n a whole grain english muffin...snacks are decent, 90 cal granola bars, rica cakes.....dinner try to do fish, chickin or lean meat but i usally alsways have pasta or potatoes...and i tend to eat alot.... What could i do that would fit my life style but get me fit enough to do some photography? Could i eat farely the same and just work out alot, and if so what to do to trim down the waist...? You can see pics on myspace, look up tierney in 33426, some r b4 I had a job that i sit on my a** all day tho. Well it's always good to admit to yourself that you need toning; it's the first step entirely to getting fit. Now then, here's something that you won't get told anywhere else: all bodies are different so whatever you're told may or may not work. But you shouldn't give up. That being said, why don't you try this: take in a certain amount of calories each day then work out with any activity that you enjoy and work off more than you took in. Love handles are actually genetic in many individuals, just like most Latina women are "bottom-heavy"; it's not just those tortillas! However, you can find certain exercises that you can do at home to work on them. Side-bends are pretty easy. Lie on the floor on one side, feet together, hands clasped together behind your head. Lift both your torso and legs off the floor. That should zap your middle if you do it for maybe 15-20 minutes, each side. For a full-body workout I recommend hitting your nearest POOL. Swimming is, by far, the best exercise you can get. It's low impact (no achy joints from ceaseless jogging!) and oh-so-fun! Remember to get lots of vitamins, drink LOTS of water, and stay away from the pasta when possible! Good luck! Your eating bad...at least you are eating! What you can do is to flip flop cardio and weight training. These two things combined will help you tone what you have and help you gain muscle. Do four days a week. Day 1: cardio Day 2:weight training Day 3: cardio Day 4: weight training This will get you the results that you are hoping for. |
