What career fields are good choices right now? |
What are some career fields that would be good options for me? I am very creative, and great with English/Literature/Writing. However, I stink at math. I am a 28 yr old mom of 3 who desperately needs a career to support my struggling family. I would love to be an adoption agent/case worker but have concerns about finding a job. I have been out of school for 10 years, with not much experience in anything besides changing diapers, and wiping dirty faces (a little photography experience, but working for a company won't pay enough, and I don't have the $ or credit to start my own business). Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Career planning is a continuous development process through which we attempt to understand our personal, family, school, work and community experiences and the significance they are likely to have in building career and choice of lifestyle. We need to identify opportunities and to identify options. We need to examine our personal interests and skills as they relate to a variety of career opportunities to help us make appropriate and realistic decisions.
