I think I might have anxiety? |
Since I was young I was always afraid to speak aloud in class. This year, when I have to present reports to my class I start shaking, hyperventilating; my voice starts to shake and I almost cry. A few months have passed since I had to stand in front of everyone and give a speech. Now it's hard for me to start talking to people. It's still hard for me to read aloud in class. I get really scared and nervous. I have a job as a photographer and the last night I worked I could barely get myself there. I was so scared. Photography is something I love more than anything, and I was scared.... I get frightened extremely easily. Even more so than when I was young. (I'm very jumpy.) Right before I got on the computer to log on, I became just....scared,nervous.... My heart beats quickly now, and it happens a lot. I didn't even want to get on to ask this question. I've heard of anxiety, but I'm not sure if these constitute the same disorder. If you could help, then it would be -very- appreciated. I think you have what they call social anxiety disorder, you need to go talk to your family doctor and have him or her steer you in the direction of the right therapist that can help you overcome this be meds and sessions. You are not alone in this, the only way I am comfortable talking to people is on here! Sounds like generalized anxiety. Try seeking professional help. My therapist helped a lot with my anxiety. Sweet heart 1st things first slow down , Sit back and take three very deap breaths close your eyes and relax, Do this every time you have this feeling coming on, But most inportant talk to your doctor, Then find some place where they have yoga classes you will feel soooo much better, Also read out loud to your family and friends, then when you have to stand in front of your class mates you can picture your family. It's so much easyer. I know because, I have been there. my life |
