I'm looking into replacing a camera... (NOT sending it in to get fixed. It isn't even worth trying that.) |
I got a Kodak EasyShare v550 after saving up all my christmas money and salary from my job. last summer was playing bumper cars and a hot guy was in there playing too.. so being an idiot, I pulled out that camera in the middle of everything and tried to take a picture. The camera fell out of my hands and got bashed around a few times. Yikes. I know I'm a dumb***. I won't be making that kind of a mistake anytime soon though.. The thing cost me over $250! I've saved almost all my money from my summer job (teaching swim lessons) & got only money for Christmas presents. I finally got a little over $300.. enough to replace my camera & even get something a bit nicer. Any ideas? I want something that isn't big and clunky (15 year-old girl here.. it can't be ugly =]). But I'm really into photography, possibly as a career when I'm older. So I got $300. I want to make it count.. my parents don't exactly load me with money, so this is a BIG deal. A camcorder if it's smaller is good, too. don't go with canon.. I want to be a professional photographer maybe too... here some info ( i am also 15) I am looking at a nikon SLR (D50) Just google or yahoo Cannon SD600 E18. ( at least in powershots) E18 is a error message that happends when the lens can't close all the way. Its a design flaw and cannon has been known to be very addament about not fixing it. Source(s): My camera and web researching Kodak makes some really nice, compact cameras in that price range...and it would be compatable with the software you have now too. One of the best cameras you can buy are the Canon Powershots (SD 600, A 630) or the Sony Cybershot. You are better of getting a 4.0 to 5.0 mega pixel Canon, Sony camera. You wil get a very good digital camera for the price. Canon makes some excellent cameras which are thinner than sony for the price. You will be happy with your shopping. Ahhh.. Yeah sending it back is pointless - I've tried that before, and they sent it back the same. Idiots. Anyways! I have a Canon Powershot A520. The camera is great and it's around $250-$300. I've had it for a year and my God I love it! You have plenty of settings on it. It takes fantastic pictures. I'm highly into photography aswell (I'm 16.) and I'm looking into it as being a career. My parents don't load me with money either, so what I do get. I try to save (for an SLR camera ) Well, really hope that helped! Look luck in your dream career. Buy a Samsung NV10. They are great cameras and look stylish too. You can get them at Circuit City but on ebay you can get them cheaper, under $300. If you have a way of buying on ebay, that is the best way to go. kodak v570,v603, canon sd40 canon sd600 canonsd630 all under $300.00 |
