Can anyone recommend a good APS photo scanner???

I am wanting to scan in 2000+ APS and 35mm negatives to preserve my photo collection. I'm looking for an inexpensive photo scanner to get the job done for under $250. I'm not an expert in photography, so I am unsure how to choose a good scanner for my pourposes without breaking the bank. Although quality is an issue... I'm really a novice so they don't have to be technically perfect... as long as my shots come out looking nice I'll be happy. Ultimatly I do want to edit and manipulate some of my shots in Adobe Photoshop which I already have, and make some larger prints... but mostly I just want to share memories with friends and family. Any recommendations, experiences, or advice would be much appreciated!!! Thanx! :) :) ;)

Try a HP PSC 1610 3in1 printer. Works great, can scan pictures and negitives directly into Photoshop. Low price around $ 200.00 new and the ink replacements are amoung the lowest. Source(s): personal exp.
