Scared of life?!? |
my parents are not going to pay for college and I don't really want to go anyway...I want to be a photographer...my boyfriend is in the army and we just got married...I just got a job for minimum wage...he wants me to put off my photography career and education and work at this job for 5 or 6 years...by then I wanted to be a photographer and start having kids....what should I do? I am so confused. I just wanna die sometimes I feel like I am going to be stuck in this job for years maybe forever..I am scared, tired, and at rockbottom what should I do? Although you say you don't want to go to college, a higher education would be a pretty good hedge against a bleak future in minimum wage jobs. You don't have to go to be a business major - there are several art colleges where you could study photography, and learn the skills you'll need to pursue your dream. Even regular colleges have art and photography programs. How would you pay for this? Well, colleges hire people, lots of people, and they offer free tuition as one of the perks. If you wanted, you could look into applying for a job at one of the local universities, get a nice office job, and take photography/art classes at night to prepare yourself for your future.
