I dream of living in the US. What should I study to find a nice job there? |
Hi, I'm a 25-year-old brasilian and I'd like to live in the US. I study publicity, arts and photography. What should I study to find a nice job there? What tips can you give me? First learn to speak English very fluently. You should study whatever field you would enjoy the most. Health care is a huge need right now though if you are interested in it. I agree with Kyle. Speaking English is very important. In fact it is a must in order to get anywhere here. Second, contact the embassy there and have them point you in the right direction. As far as getting a job in your fields, I suggest the larger cities as there would be more of a need in the arts than in the smaller rural areas. Go online and look into the newspapers for classified ads and see what they have to offer. If you are truly interested in photography, you could always do that in the US. People pay big bucks for professional wedding photos and photos of their kids. You could live anywhere! Make sure to do the research because all 50 states are very different and the towns and cities within them are completely different. |
