I just graduated from college and I can't get a job? What do i do? |
I have a bachelor of science in Photography and a minor GBA. I am still going to go to school in the fall to start my MBA, but i need a job now. A good job.... the jobs i have been offered were not good enough for some people in my life :( Welcome to the real world. Being edumacated by people who don't have the 'fruit on the tree' yields ....... well, put it this way: if you plant pumpkin seed, you won't get tomatoes at harvest time. Suggest you get work experience for the experience....no matter what area...but preferably in an area of interest to you. Have you thought about co-op programs? That may be a great place to start. Maybe the jobs you've been offered are not what you picture, but everyone has to start somewhere. Don't be too picky... the competition out there is fierce among college graduates. Try posting ur resume on Monster.com and they will do a lot of the work for you by sending you jobs through your email, also you can go to your local job agency or the city wall (human resources) they usually have jobs that pay pretty well and your degree with help you to get the best pay. In the mid time try applying for around the way photo shops like Jcpenney, Kmart or Sears...it will give you experience and will help you pay some bills while you look for a better job. |
