Feature Photography Job Help? |
I was wondering how I could go about getting a job involving feature photography such as going to different countries and working for magazines and such like TIME. thanks. O.k. what you want to do is called Editorial magazine photography. What you need to do is develop a portfolio of feature photos and really streamline it in order to make a good impression. You should also have a website showcasing your photos. You can work as a freelance photographer for smaller publications until one day you may end up working for time. Depending on your skill level, if you are an amateur, and I'm assuming you are, then i recommend working as a photographer's assistant as well. This will give you good experience.
