Where would you look for a pin-up photographer?

My best friend does pin-up photography in the Richmond, VA area and is wondering where best to spend her marketing dollars. She has a website, a MySpace account, a Flickr account and puts ads up on Craigslist regularly.
She sponsors local events like car shows and rockabilly gatherings and has spent money on one ad in a local scene magazine, but it only netted a couple shoots (which basically paid for the ad).

So - if you were in the market for a pin-up shoot, where would you look first to find a photographer?

I should add that she's a photographer for "the common woman" - there are plenty of guys in the area who seek out the Adult Entertainment workers to shoot - my friend does work for military wives, preschool teachers, roller derby skaters, etc.

Lingerie stores, adult toy stores, perhaps some night clubs, but mainly the first two.

In most areas there is a regional Adult Entertainment Guide. These magazines feature various men's night clubs. The women who work in clubs like these spend lots of $$ on photos. The women who advertise in the back pages do too. So should the photog who wants the shoot.
