...journalism (print-magazine, paper, visual) or photography?
If you're still in school, the best way to do this is to be involved. If your teachers and administration know that you are one of the journalism or photo kids, etc, then when the time comes that opportunities arise, you'll be the first one they think of. If that's not soon enough for you, I would suggest an entry-level job at a business that deals with publishing or editing, and then making yourself known by your effort in your work, as well as your integrity and dependability. If you build a good reputation, it will support you more than you know. |
