How to deal with death? |
I'm trying to deal with the death of my photography teacher, who died January 11th. It's been 5 days, I'm still in shock... and when I go to school, and in that classroom I'm always reminded of him, and it makes me sad all the time. I found out Saturday afternoon he died because I was invited to a facebook group called R.I.P mr.stevenson. I was shocked, and still am. He was the best teacher, like no other teacher i've ever had. I didnt even think of him as a teacher, because I could just sit down and talk to him whenever I wanted to, and he loved to bug me and play his guitar to me. I havent ever lost someone close, so I have no idea how to handle this. It's just hard for me, because I have alot of regrets, like how I should of spent more time with him. He told me I was one of his fav students, which makes me feel even more horrible. As much as I want to stop thinking about him, I don't.. because I don't want to forget about him and always remember him. I miss him. =( Help? just remember him and live for him. talk to him if u have too. i know it sounds wierd but it works if you talk to him about your problems like hes really their... i promise. hes listening just get over it u lost only him.......i lost way more........ull get over it...soon i hope....k...nest of luck.....*sigh* Every person deals with death in a different way. Most important thing to do is talk about your feelings with someone you trust. And don't feel embarrassed when you start to cry, that's a natural way to show emotion. Find out if there is a funeral service or (even better) a Celebration of Live you could attend. I wish you all the strength you need to cope with your loss. It's very hard to lose someone you care about, but it does get better over time. The best way to deal with is to remember if any good times you had with that person. I think that we all follow our own path and we cross and uncross paths with other people constantly. Death come when a persons path leads them away from earth and currently your path has you here with us right now. One day you may find the you and your teachers paths cross again, until them live life to the fullest so that when you do see him you have a lot to talk about, ha ha. And also all you can do is talk about what he did for a liveing and how well he did is job |
