Getting into college? Please help college advisors!? |
Hi, so I'm a sophomore in high school right now and I would like to go to Stanford. Last year I was in FFA. This year I'm involved in FBLA, which is a business club, Key Club, and Science Club. Thank you, it really helped. What classes and activities did you take to get into Yale and Harvard? Neither art club nor photography club would necessarily look "better" to Stanford. Choose the club in which you will be able to accomplish more (in terms of producing work, or serving in a leadership role), because that is what will look good to Stanford. College admissions aren't going to split hairs between which elective or which club or which AP course you chose. They look at the overall picture. Read A Is For Admission for an insightful book into admissions to top quality schools. |
