Which careers should I look into?

I'm a junior in high school. I've taken the Collegeboard survey, and it turned out to be highly inaccurate in terms of careers. So I figured maybe you guys could help me? Here's a brief overview of me:

Goal: become a philanthropist with enough money to make an impact. Get my voice heard and hopefully change consumptive/selfish behavior. I want to have a good impact on the environment.

Interests: sociology, politics, economy, environment

Favorite subjects: chemistry, art, government/econ, photography

Least favorite: math, English

GPA: 4.143

Collegeboard says: ENTZ (extroverted, intuitive, thinker, organized)

Basically, I know I'm well equipped to be successful, so to speak. But I don't want to be a head of a corporation, like how Collegeboard recommends. I just want to be a selfless, respectable, good person.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you want to be a philanthropist you need to have lots of money. You would stand a better chance of becoming the head of a philanthropic organization. To do this you will need a business education. Or you could become a missionary.

Well if you want to be a philanthropist you're going to need a lot of money.

ur also very organized too

u seem too perfect >.< u should run fo the president

enjoy the life by chosing the job you like.

to be successful you have to find a job that you enjoy doing
or love even.

if you end up like many ppl you will dislike your job and are only doing it to earn a paycheck.

try to get a summer or part time job in a field that you think you might like. often times the reality and the fantasy are not the same. if you get some experience actually working it will not only make you more attractive to future employers but also make you able to choose more wisely.

I cannot remember the mans name but he was a financial analyst for years but hated it.

So he quit his job and started baking cakes, something he had always been doing for fun and friends.

he now makes more money than ever and is doing what he loves to do.

so find you dream job and the money will find you.

You can't be selfless and respectable for a living (unless you marry a rich guy). Also, there is nothing that says you can't be those things as the head of a corporation. The stereotype of corporate CEOs as greed money grubbing bad guys is blown way out of proportion. Some of the leading philanthropists in the world are people who head major corporations.
My advice would be to keep an open mind and don't become fixated on anything just yet (assuming you are going to college).

My college board test told me to become a Bus Driver, and I'm a senior studying Mechanical Engineering :P
