I want to become an actress, any advice?

Hello! I am 17 years old and I am bilingual (I lived in Sweden so I know Swedish & I also speak a lot of Japanese, French, Spanish, Norwegian, and Danish), and have am EXTREMELY interested in acting, journalism, languages, accents, photography, and music. I don't want to become an actress to become a celebrity, or to be rich, I just really enjoy it and I want to atleast become successful, if possible, and reach out to people all over the world. I am abotu to graduate from High School. Right now I live in Georgia, USA, but I would LOVE to move to California, if that's a good idea. I am a friendly people-person which has always taken me far and hopefully will in the future as well! :)
Any suggestions on how to become a successful actress? Any special colleges I should look into? Anybody who is in the business who could give me some advice as well? It would be extremely appreciated! :D

Well, California has a lot of acting careers for T.V. So to get a main roll out there it would most likely be on a show or a movie. To build up you're portfolio try out to be an extra on a show, the more experience the better, in California, if u get a main role it will most likely be something that will make u somewhat famous.

If u aren't so into being famous and T.V. and more into theatre, go to New York. There are a lot more oppurtunities for starting out actresses. Plus, u can be big time without being in tabloids.

There are plenty of acting schools around the nation, but you should just move to Hollywood and generate a good social network with actors, actresses, producers and directors
