Where can I buy a release form for my make up artist to sign?

I just graduated a photography school and have worked with a make up artist. I am currently working on a commercial photography portfolio, NOT porn. This past weekend she said a few thing that made me and my model concered that she is going to use my photos for her up and coming porn websight. She asked for almost half the photos edited and not all head, shots she needed body shot. I need to find a websight were I may purchase a relase form for my make up artist to sign? A form claiming that these photos are for her portfolio use only and not to be altered in any form or way. This would help a bunch, Thanks.

Did you work with the MUA on a TFP basis?? If not, the MUA has no rights to the use of photos from any shoot.

Inform her that any uses of the photos will be considered a violation of your copyright.

If you permit her to use the photos in any way, you should provide a written agreement BEFORE the shoot. Afterward, if she wants to push anything, its your word against hers, which muddys up the water for any litigation. If you have any e-mails saved, discussing her usage of the photos, make sure you keep them.

You can give the MUA a "limited usage rights" document, stating what she can use, and how she can use them. You can just write one up, in simple terms and exact statements.

Small edit.... You might want to get together with a lawyer, or at the very least an experienced photographer, and go over the business side of photography. You seem to be getting in over you head already, and you need to go over specific legal needs of your business with someone knowledgeable.

You can get into some deep trouble here if you don't nip this in the bud.

First of all you do not have the right releases and documentation to allow any of these images to show up on a porn site. We are talking huge fines and imprisonment for not having all your "t's" crossed, your "i's AND "j's" dotted and a permanent custodial location that can be "inspected" at anytime during business hours by a federal agent.

Second DO NOT give her any images ... until you have neutered them by making small "proof" files with your copyright plastered across the image (less than 50K image files) and a disclaimer that the images are for review only.

You are not responsible for adjusting any of the images ... that is considered post-production and shooters are not paid to do that.

Of course you know that you have to have all your releases signed at the time of the shoot. Going back later and expecting every one to sign a retroactive release is problematic to say the least

get rid of her. she will cause you a lot of future problems if you are not in the same "business" as she is. As a pro photog. I would have nothing to do with someone shady. She has no right to use your pictures.
