What are some good holiday boredom busters? |
What are some good holiday boredom busters? I am on school holidays, I need something to do. I am alone by myself most of the time, so board games are completely out. I don't want to spend all my time on the computer, and if it's sunny, I usually go out and photography my cat, because she is cool like that. lol. I wanted something to do, that I could do as an alternative to sitting on the computer, eating, photographing, watching tv, talking on the phone. I do the above things all the time, and I still am bored. I really need some good boredom busters, because I bore easily. Please put your whole hearted effort into answering this question. Thank you! In my opinion, nothing busts the holiday boredom than doing a craft! Maybe you should take up knitting or sewing, because you have to concentrate on what you're doing, or everything gets out of whack. That's the best thing to do. The second best is drawing. You can draw anything you want to, and if you worship a celeb or T.V star, try drawing them! Or, if you want to take out your rage on someone, draw them ugly. it helps! And finally, if your out of options, there are two left: reading and calling a friend. reading a book or magasine can sometimes take you out of boredom. Try checking out a book from your local library and read a chapter a day; it adds suspense. Oh, and I fully recomend Alanna: the first adventure by Tamora Pierce. The very last thing you can do is call a friend over to your house. This is a last effort because on the holidays most people go away on the holidays. Still, beats sitting at home! These are all I can think of, because I just moved and I am bored too! Source(s): Experience as for some people the only defense against boredom it boredom its self is not they're lazy or what but try creating small projects that will keep you busy yet productive like go with friends, visit places you never been go exploring around the neighborhood just don't get your self lost its just a fun way to spend time. Gracie: First make a list of what you would love to do this summer. List things that take some money and things that you could maybe do once or twice, but would love to do. Now you have some focus. Then list what you might be able to do to have the opportunity to go do your favorites list. Even list things like- mow Grandma's yard for $10 next to the list. Create more to the list as you go. That way, you are creating your fun summer of '07 instead of being stuck in a rut. In addition, make time to see relatives you wouldn't normally visit and just spend time with them. It's more rewarding than you think. |
