I'm a nuke and not sure what to do.?


I'm in prototype right now in NY and I absolutely hate it. The program just seems to get worse and worse as I go along. I'm putting 14 hours a day in and I'm still way behind! I had virtually no trouble through A school and power school. I really want to get out of the program but I'm not sure if that will change things for the better. This play is driving me crazy with stress though. And I have really destructive ways of dealing with it, be it myself or others.
I'm not sure how I should drop the program. Should I psyche drop or just give up and academic drop? The first I really wouldn't be lying, the second I would be. I know I'm capable of learning all of this. Whats more is I want to fulfill my enlistment and be able to choose my rate if I drop the program. I'm thinking of something less technical, like photography. Thanks .

My brother went through all that crap, he's also a nuclear physicist and he said it was tough getting through all the tedious work and long hours but it will be worth it when you are finished. You'll feel so accomplished and you'll get a good job with a degree in nuclear physics.
Just remember that this type of stuff is hard to learn and be damn proud of yourself for making it this far. Don't give up, you'll be so much happier when all is said and done if you don't give up.

Ahhh I see. Nuke means nuclear physicist. Wonder when that term switched meanings.

Well in that event, I sympathize. It's a wierd industry. There probably won't be many nuke plants built any time soon... and do you really want to work for the bomb builders when they get going again.

Maybe you should shoot at a teaching. If you were smart enough to think you could hack quantum theory, then you are smart enough to be a decent teacher.
