What's wrong with me? |
I'm teenage girl, but I'm not like most girls my age. I differ in many ways. To start with, my interests are not exactly what you would call "age-appropriate". I absolutely love cartoons, namely Western cartoons. Two of my favourite shows are Hamtaro and Pokemon, oddly enough. I think the only non-animated television shows I like are a few on Disney channel, and some on TBS that my mom introduced to me. Aside from TV shows, my other interests include arts & crafts, photography, swimming, and computer stuff. That's actually about it. So, clearly, I don't have the typical interests of a teenage girl. I also have trouble socializing. I'm home schooled, but I used to go public school up until 8th grade. It was very difficult for me. I don't know how to put it. I don't think I'm shy, I just lack the ability to socialize. And, it has nothing to do with me being home schooled, because I was always like this. Am I normal? You are normal and I think your interests are great - for any age. Very normal and i wish there were more girls in the world like you. Im a guy and most girls are boy crazy and wear too much make up you sound intelligent, and shy. nothing wrong with that if that is you. only you can change it. there is no such thing as "normal", we are all different with diffferent interests , and with different strengths and weaknesses. as for your difficulty socializing, u can get help and improve yr social skills through good therapy. good luck! |
