Can anyone offer advice on how to use photography to make money? |
I am an amateur photographer, and would like to use it to make some extra cash when I go back to school. Can anyone offer ideas or sugestions? My advice to you is to go where people congregate. Go to horse shows. Take candid shots of people with their horses, either riding or just being near their horses. After you process the shots, put them in a presentation binder and show them off. Chances are, you will show your photos to the very same person you've already photographed. You can take photos at weddings, birthday parties, graduations, book covers, or newspapers. For newspapers, go where the action is and if it's newsworthy, call your local papers and tell them you got pics. Photography is considered an art form. You can exhibit your work in art shows. Join art groups and participate in their exhibits. If you win an award, more power to you and chalk it up to experience. take plenty of photos Weddings!!!
