I am interested in exploring a career in photography. does anyone have opinions on the best schools for this.


i have been told i have a talent and i want to know where is the best place to learn and persue this art.

Also if you are looking for anything at the community college level, try Butte Community College in Oroville, CA. (nor cal) Their photography teaching staff is world renowned. An absolute goldmine for photography at the community college level. Well worth it if you are willing.

I would say college, but I don't know if you do want to go. I would say take some pics and submit it to some compaies that are looking for photographers and show them your samples in a book form, you know like a portfolio and see what develops (sorry, had to say that!) good luck in finding you career. Almost any "College of Art" will have a section devoted to Photography-depends on where U live. On the East Coast, for example-the Md Institute-College of Art, has cranked out some excellent photographers--
If U have a 'natural affinity'-as long as U can 'sell your photos'--thats what counts.
