Photography Software using green screen?


i would like to get into photography and take team pictures for the school i work for. i have searched the internet for some photograhy software that i seen the pros use. they had a camera connected to the laptop, took a picture in front of a green screen and selected a background on the computer. does anyone know of software like this?

This can be achieved through many different applications. I would use Adobe Photoshop, as I am most familiar with it.
