Bachelor's in fine arts? |
i want to get a bachelor's in fine arts but dont know what kind of work there will be after. i want to major in studio art or photography. also could i double major with these two? what oportunities are there for me. also i plan to go to HCC then transfer into the university of texas in austin? can anyone help or have any suggestions? I would strongly recommend going for design/photography. When you go for a BFA, your whole first year will introduce you to the studio arts. Go with photography, you can't really do anything with studio art. I have a BFA from U of Michigan. If you get it in photography then you have somthing that is marketable when you go to get a job. studio art (like I did) is hard to actually find work in Go with photography. Whether you do studio portraits or newspaper/magazine work, there is always a need. In fact, as long as there are little children and doting grandparents there will be a need for photographers! LOL! |
