So i pretty much love photography, my passion.?

buuuut what do I do to set up a studio lookin' thing?
I don't have money to buy special lights or whatever, so could someone give me some good idea about setting up a little home studio.
Perhaps you could give me some good ideas about lighting and everything.
I am young and I want to learn
: ]]
thank you.

well are you going to do this proffessionally or just for your own enjoyment.

I have 2 kids, one more on the way and I LOVE taking pictures of them! I have gotten much better since I started... and I take pics of a lot of things now, like butterflies and landscapes...

To start, I would get a big album for keeping a portfolio... It could just be one of those 8X10 albums... and it will be neat to track how your skill has improved
Go outside, natural light is the best...
Take pics of everyday things, from different angles... like lay down in the grass and take a pic of a flower from underneath. All your pics may not be FABULOUS, but you will learn a "style" and what you like.
Simple sheets make good backdrops... anything simple will really make your subject standout... and experiment with the settings on your camera.

Have Fun!!

Studios let you set up what you want, if you want to learn photography capture what's in the world till you know how to assembel what you want back in the lab. Till then start with making a dark room to save yourself a lot of $ if you want to be making prints to sell.

the sad thing is.. photography is EXPENSIVE!!! windows are good for lighting.. the best time to shoot is in the morning and the evening.. never shoot in the middle of the day ..the sun is horrible then. Cloudy days are very good days to shoot. Good luck :D...oh also google lighting.. and you probably will get a lot of creative ways! :D

Lights, lamps, window, reflectors, difusers, gels and filters.

Get as many lights as you can, for starters get 3 so you can have key, fill, and backlight.

Best wishes.
