Walk in photography studio cost?

Say, my boyfriend and I wanted to get a few cute couple pictures of ourselves to hang around the house. What would it cost for us to go to a photo shoot and pose a little and chose the shots?

We are fairly broke so... cheap places, in a place like St. Louis????

St Louis should be full of photographer who will charge you very little or nearly nothing to shoot photos of you and your BF.

Depending on how romantic you are willing to look, they might pay you!. I am sure Debbie got paid to do Dallas. I am sure tiy can get paid to do St, Louis starting with your BF. Ha! Just Kidding I am anti anything even sexy or erotic.

your going to have to contact people in YOUR area... its hard to tell because prices fluctuate in different economies...

There is no set world wide pricing for a photoshoot.

If you are really fairly broke, you could look on craigslist, at local art schools or at onemodelplace.com for semi-pro photographers looking to build their portfolio. There is a common practice in photography of time for prints (TFP). Basically, they need models and you want a photos of yourself, so you trade. It's very common for fashion/pro model stuff, but there are definitely people looking for regular people to do portraits of. I think you are likely to get more original pictures this way as opposed to a formulaic chain photo studio, which are what most of the inexpensive options are.

Oh, and onemodelplace has a lot of photographers who do nudes (mostly tasteful), just ignore those, they aren't all like that. it's a reputable site serious models and good photographers use it - that stuff just happens to be a profitable part of the industry!

In my area for half way decent quality.. sitting fees are often free if you order a certain package, but those packages are usually atleast midgrade in price range. Most place will off single sheet pricing and in my area the retail place I like is 20 per sheet.

As far as hiring someone to come to your house, that varies widely by area. A pro will be expensive. You can likely get an amature by posting on a local site like craigslist, get the same quality and at much better prices and more flexibility.
