Walmart photography? |
Walmart photography? When I first started my photography career I checked out what references you need to be employed as a photographer at a walmart studio - the answer was "just some sales experience would be nice, that's all." I guess that tells you what you will get for your money if you have your picture taken there. Portrait photography is more than just saying Smile! and pushing a button on a camera. Its about lighting, posing people to show their best side, and about making them feel comfortable in front of the camera. I've seen pictures from our walmart studio here, and they were just people put in front of the camera - partially too dark and kinda blah. A great professional photographer WILL get more out of you to give you your best! Its up to you - whatever money you want to spend and what you expect to get! Terrible! Usually not a trained photographer! Ugh! They are good for quick photo developing and printing pictures from your digital camera's memory stick. I've never had any problems. I've had several pictures taken there with my children and family. I think that they do a decent job. The cost is pretty good too. No complaints from me!! walmart made some awesome pictures of my grandchildren they are great i saw the other answer the person didn't like them not sure where she is from but here in south Carolina where i live they take alot of time making pictures of children but i respect their answer to I have never had a problem with them and know very few people who have. They are cheap and fairly speedy. The people ARE trained...but even some trained people don鈥檛 have much common since and even if they do have common since can make mistakes, just like anyone else. |
