Do you think $10 an hr is good pay as a part-timer working at a photography studio? yeah, depending on what your duties are. Sounds good to me, but it depends on where you live, and what the cost of living is like. Yes. There are a lot of variables that go into answering a question like this. Do you want to get into professional photography? Will taking this job help get you the experience to forward your career? Many times people are willing to take part time jobs with less money in careers they want to pursue if the experience is important to them for job advancement. Or are you just looking for a good paying part time job? Are the hours what you want? What is the commute like? Are you going to be spending a lot of money getting to and from your job? Are there other expenses involved, like childcare to consider? What part of the country do you live in? Are you going to be able to meet your living needs with the money you make and the hours you work? How old ar eyou? What is your general experience in the field? All of these things are things that need to be considered when taking ANY job. But for a part time job, starting pay with little experience it doesn't sound bad. Especially if you are interested in the field. If you have a college education in photography, I'd tell them to stick it. I earned 11 an hour at a video store. But I guess it could also depend on where you live. If you're in or around a major city, I'd say they're gyping you Depends which city you are in. But as a part timer, I'd say that is a fair salary. You should decide your worth and ask for it... give 'em 2 weeks notice. |
