How can I create my own green screen photography studio? |
I want to do green screen photography but I'm not sure if I need to purchase a special screen. I'm also not sure what tools in photoshop to use to turn the green screen into a transparancy. Is there a better program for this than photoshop? As mentioned - you'll need a chroma-key colored background. It usually comes in green or blue. I found mine on eBay for very cheap and have had great success with it. I even used it on one wedding and the bride loved it. I'd reccomend getting a cloth background as it can fold up and put away into storage easily. Allowing you to turn your walls into another backdrop of some type. Photographing a green-screen can be quite tricky as you have to be sure to remove shadows and make sure no one is wearing a similar color. I've found using two lights instead of one background light works great for removing shadows (along with my normal portrait lighting). If you have the money, Photoshop is the best there is. However, there are other software out there that will allow you to select a color and knock it out, such as Corel Paint and JASC Paintshop Pro. Source(s): professional photographer certified professional photographer you can use paint and just paint a wall or piece of plywood. you can buy the paint pre-mixed or have it made at home depot, et al. the paint is usually called 'chroma-key green'. or do a search for green screen paint and you'll find it no problem. i'm pretty sure bhphotovideo.com carries it in various quantities. u cant... u better buy it! lmao i win i win!!!!! |
