What do you think about my photography? |
http://www.flickr.com/photos/eurojaaa/ wow, is that really yours? Wow...you are really good at what you do!!!! I would commision you just to follow me around and get good shots like those of me! Your good... Great contrast and the colors are fabulous!! I like the first one of the trees. amazing work.....speechless.....absolutely gorgeous!! I peeked at a few pages of your Flickr account, and IMHO you have the technical skill, and a good eye. I'd say go for it, just be sure to meet with the client, pre shoot and go over everything. Understanding the clients expectations/ idea's will allow you to best plan the shoot, what equipment to bring and the location/ time of day. Make sure to get a signed model release if your shooting people and remember, you hold copyright to any image you make. I don't have a flickr account, so I can't individuallt comment on your pics. But overall I find your work very good. There are a few that truly struck me as absolutely worth marketing in masses. Myself, I enjoyed some of the landscape pictures the best. Each picture had it's own individual flair though. Keep up the good work! Your work is a lot better than most I've seen, however, the tea colored filter is not my style. Also, I noticed some odd shadows blocking the model's face. You might consider leaving these out next time. Overall, great work. You are actually asking two questions here. You do have some nice images. I personally don't like the post processing and the heavy handed use of vignettes. Several of the portraits were pretty nice, minus the heavy post and saturation and vignettes. Also there were some shadows going on that I didn't get at all, they did not add to the portraits IMO. Your city scapes were by and large mostly pleasing. You had some great Boston Terrier shots, and a few that weren't as good. I was not a big fan of most of your landscapes, they seemed lacking in composition, and again, the post processing effects were not my style. Do you have low self esteem or something? you're picutres are really great! THOSE ARE ALL FRICKEN AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Some stunners, your good no doubt. The over processing is a little........ have confidence with yourself! your pics are really good, you stand a chance, go for it You鈥檝e got some seriously marketable skills Can't say I liked the lighting or composition in most of the portraits. Landscapes were mostly uninteresting, but well-executed for what they were. A few of your still-life shots were very good. But there's no reason why you could not pursue some part-time work as a freelancer though; take a few courses, learn more about composition and lighting, and you'll do fine! You clearly have the interest in photographic creativity- decide if you want to explore it. |
