I need Help With Photography?

Im a 1st Year Photographer.
Are There Any People Out there Who are Photographers Who can Give Me Some Tips.

I have a CanonPowerShot s51s

and i wanted to know where to Find Good Subjects. Whats a good place to shoot.

and maybe what are some normal typical ideas

read books, surf the internet for photo tips, but you want atypical ideas. You don't want to do what's already been done. Be original, be yourself. good luck.

*Try shooting your main subject a little off-center
*Go for unique angles
*Play around with the foci (focuses) on the camera - make the background blurred, etc.
*Find high-contrast scenes, like a red flower in the snow or something
*Seemingly mundane things like a brick wall with grafitti, or a leaf, or a windchime make the most interesting shots

That's just some stuff I do, nothing too too special

you're gonna want to study composition of a shot, the rule of thirds basically, lighting techniques, depth of field. Anything can make a great shot if you get it right. Play with angles, light, shutter speeds, ASA, everything.

It also depends on what kind of photography you're looking to do. A box camera can give you a fantastic picture if you know the principles.

Just study different styles, techniques, lighting, angles, focus, depth of field, anything you can about photography. And all the while, SHOOT! thats always most important, put your learning into practice and develop your own style.
