Hand-phone photography?

Because I don't bring my DSLR everywhere with me, I rely on my hand-phone to take some photos every now and then (until I get a decent, small P&S). I've seen some stunning photos shot with a phone before.

Does anybody have any useful tips specific to handphone photography?

Just do it. Recognize the limitations of the device and don't expect too much. Subjects with less detail will give better results.

Here are two samples. The sunset has very little detail and looks about as good as if it was taken with an average point and shoot camera. I played with the sunflower to more or less capitalize on the low resolution of the cell phone image, but I think it works. The original image was actually just fine, but I felt like being silly.

With my 23 years of experiences in Photography,I can tell you that a handphone photography cannot compared with DSLR camera, because it had small pixels,no flash, handshake ( it means not stable for holding ) ,etc.
