Any tips on making a photography portfolio?
It depends one what type of photography you plan on doing. Nature, Fashion, Portraits, etc. Then based on that, go shoot. shoot til you can't shoot any more. And then pick the best of what you have and use those in your portfolio. And if you can't decide, get critiqued, theres lots of places out there with people ready to critique...modelmayhem.com for example (exceptionally useful if you plan on using models anytime in your photography career). Good Luck! Sure! When I make my portfolio I choose photos that I feel are unique and that are my best. I also choose photos that show my personal style. Also, do you digitally edit your photos? For example, if it's to dark do you increase the brightness on the computer? Or you can even add effects digitally. I've also seen people that categorize their portfolio. Maybe you would like to do something like that? Well hope these tips help!
