Do you think Im a good photographer? |
I would like to go into photography when I get older (Im 16 right now) and was thinking of taking some college classes for it. EXCELLENT PHOTOGRAPHER! Definitely... I think you are a very good photographer, awesome..i love the dandilion! Wow yes they're beautiful photos!! You're definitely on the right track, very artistic, you surely have an eye for it! I also love nature photography, and yours are fantastic=) I think you have a very good eye for the composition of your images. Ok, well I might have to disagree with the previous answers a little, not necesseraly in a bad way... I have to go with Rude-boi on this. Your composition and lighting are all great, but there is nothing SPECIAL about your photos. You have a great foundation, but anybody with a camera is going to think they can recreate them, and will want to put their own photos on their walls. In addition to boi's suggestions, I suggest you critically look at the photographs that DO sell and make money. Go to arts and crafts shows, and look at the photographers carefully. Even though I am a photographer, and would never buy someone else's travel photos to put on my walls (my space is limited), I totally appreciate what makes their work special. A lot of the time it is TIME. All you see is the photo of three fox kits cavorting in the snow, but when you speak to the photographer, he/she spent countless hours sitting in the snow, freezing his tootsies, watching fox kits, studying their behavior, and shooting countless "rolls of film" (of course, many don't use film anymore) waiting for that perfect shot. All you see is a bicycle leaning against a stucco wall in France, with peeling paint, and a perfect shadow of the bike against the wall, but you have no idea how many hours were spent waiting for the light to be just so. (occasionally you'll find someone who says they were just in the right place at the right time, but that's rare among pros). Consecuently, most people don't like to pay for the time that it takes to get that right shot. It can be very frustrating trying to sell your work, and hearing nothing all day, all week, but "Hmm. That's very pretty. I think I'll try to do that with my [point-and-shoot] camera," as the customer walks out the door. AT 16 I think you have a very good start in photography. There is a lot you need to learn, but desire to learn is the beginning. Join a camera club, get involved in competitions and LISTEN to the judges. If you strive to improve you will do just fine. Yes, for your age you're pretty good! I'm a teen too by the way, just a little younger then you! yeah pretty awesome! XD you are about the 5th person who has claimed that that website is theirs. You didn't have Bachelor of Arts in Wedding Photography, also you are too young to be Wedding Professional Photographer,Think too far away lah. |
