What's more important spanish or Art for someone that want's to be a photographer ?

So , i thought i finally choose all of my classes for next year. Though I need one more year long class and I can't decided between Spanish 3 or Art 2 . I all ready know 3 languages (Russian, English, Ukrainian) and i guess Spanish would language number 4 . I'm thinking that if i want to be a photographer that knowing many languages could be an advantage . My only problem is , Spanish 3 is really hard and the teacher that teaches it is really strict, like each project has to be 100 percent correct or you get zero points , and because of that i'm having a hard time in Spanish 2 because the same teacher teaches that class. But for Art 2 , my problem is it's going to be really hard because it's lots of painting and doing self-portraits. And i don't think i'm too great of a painter (example of my art :http://www.flickr.com/photos/annafur/224... so my question what class would be better for me in the long run if i were to be a photographer , taking another year of Spanish or art ?

sorry link i put up dosen't work : here the working link:

Take the ART. You can speak well enough.

Having the Art instruction will help you learn composition, and much more you will not imagine. Drawing in art classes is not a thing that needs to be "good". Just do the assignments as you feel. Its ART! Learn about colors and shadows and contrast, and how they interact. You will improve your photography more than you think by actually doing the painting and sketching.

art!!!!!!!

Definitely Art.

But knowing Spanish is a big asset these days so if you can continue to learn it as well, do so.

Art, totally. It brings out your creativity and allows you to see things in a different way. Art is a way of life.

Great pics too. Go with art.

I really believe art cannot be taught. You have it, or you don't.

Spanish will be more beneficial to you in the long run.

The art class with be much more likely to help you in the long run as a photographer. It will hopefully teach you about composition and light and color, if not outright you will at least learn to see and get a sense of these things. This will greatly assist you when you learn to apply it to photography.

I checked out your work on flickr and you have very nice work and lots of potential. I highly recommend pursuing your talent. I am also photographer (as well as writer and artist) and have attended The Hallmark Institute of Photography. I highly recommend it if you're serious about photography. I am also going back to college this fall to pursue a fine art major.

It should be a no brainer if you want to be a photographer.

Even though Im scarred Rachel will thumb me down, do art.

I have 2 languages and a little of 2 others, they are great for getting around Europe, not to helpful for lighitng sets or interiors......

a

art and french if you must study another language. and your painting is very much art...
get a book titled "drawing from the right side of the brain" it has some excersises and instruction that even i can understand, and in just a little while you can be drawing and sketching with the best of them...

Take art. If you're considering Spanish 3, that must mean you've already had two years of Spanish. Two years is the usual requirement of foreign languages for college. The art classes will help you with color, composition, and other things that will also be helpful in photography. And if you want to major in photography in college, they will want to see that you have a strong art background.

You speak Russian? Khorosho! So do I!

Art
Then watch as many Speedy Gonzalez cartoons as you can ;)
Alternatively, get a Spanish-speaking boyfriend.

art, but for the purpose of progressing with your understanding of image making, not so much for the creation of paintings, although that will pick up a bit no doubt. You are a photographer more so than you you are a painter at this stage.

Spanish will probably help u get into uni or college but art is definitely more important and its more easier as well
