Question about Bridal Portraits and jewlery!? |
Just wondering, do you usually wear your wedding band in your bridal portraits (if you have boughten it already)... or do you usually just wear your engagement ring. I know some photographers take close up shots of your hands and bouquet so i wasnt sure if i should wear my wedding band during the photoshoot or not. What do you girls think? if you are doing your bridal pictures early (a great idea cus it saves time on your wedding day) then yes, you wear your ring. The one thing that is hard is getting your hair done the same if your do it on different days. If you are talking about pictures taken the day OF the wedding, prior to the ceremony, no, you do not wear your wedding band. If you have the pics done before you are married, you just wear your engagement ring. Otherwise, they aren't pics of you as a married woman! You do not wear your wedding ring at all until the part of the wedding ceremony where the groom puts it on your finger. Close ups of your bouquet and hands with the wedding bands on should be taken after this. ... If then portrait is taken before the wedding I wouldn't wear it, but if it was taken after the wedding took place I would. If it's before I would ask the photographer that you have at your wedding to take those shoots for you. if it's a portrait of you as a bride, then yes wear the engagement ring with your band. or have some pics taken with the band and some without (only the engagement ring) and decide later which ones look best You could for some pictures, its really up to you. I will For some pictures but not for all. No wedding band - the photographer will take those close-up shots on wedding day. (I am assuming you are talking about the portraits that you do ahead of time to put in the newspaper). Do you mean engagement pics or actual wedding photos? If they are engagement pics, no just your engagement ring, if wedding pics then yes (AFTER YOU ARE MARRIED) of course. |
