Need Help On Self Portrait?

Im A Learning Photographer And I Need Idea's For My self-portrait, Coz Im Brain Dead When It Comes 2 Other idea's

Can You Help???

Try to catch your shadow doing something crazy (like stand on a chair on one foot, and hold a bunch of balloons, or flowers)...

Take a picture at night, and "paint" yourself in light using a flashlight, move it around so only you are in the light... you'll need a friend, or a timer, or a remote shutter release for that one. :o)

You could have someone else trip the shutter, and you can be doing something you like to do... a craft, hobby, or sport.

Catch your reflection in a puddle, mirror, or window.

Just take a picture of your feet, or hands, and call it "self portrait".

My instructor said that if you take a picture, it can be of anything or nothing really, and if you call it "self portrait" that is what it is.... Nobody can argue with it, because that is what you named it. lol

Cut out a photo in a magazine of someone you admire or wish you were. Cover your face with it and take a photo. Then take a photo of yourself from the side on your knees with arms raised as if you are worshiping someone. Then downsize the "worship" photo and superimpose it into the lower right or left corner of your "mask" photo to depict you worshiping your idol.

Well if you're that brain dead, maybe you should go to school for something else. Perhaps underwater basket weaving. That doesn't strike me as requiring a substantial amount of creativity, just the ability to hold your breath, mostly.

Oooh, oooh, I know. Why don't you take a picture of yourself playing in traffic. That wouldn't be nearly as tragic as having to come up with your own ideas, would it?

If you dont like the idea of just a head and shoulder traditional portrait, then you should take a picture of yourself doing something you are passionate about or with a prop related to a hobby or activity that you enjoy.
