Does or has anyone worked for LifeTouch Photography?

I have an interview tomorrow, to be a school portrait photographer. The pay is $10-$11, but I would like to ask for a little more. They said they pay you for the drive time also, but I am confused how this works and was wondering if anyone has had this job before and how they liked it, and how everything worked as far as summers off, etc. Thanks!

I have not worked for Lifetouch, but know a few peole who have. You will have a LOT more than summers off....probably from October on. They are not up front about their seasons.

Depending on the company I would look them up on the website first and get more information on them. I know a friend that is going to redo all his paperwork for this company because the company they work for merged with them. They did sport photography. They got paid for the drive to the job but not to come home. They were seasoned workers and got paided a little more every season they came back and they made there schedule ahead of time to there availability. Hope this helps.

I worked for LifeTouch in the church directory division and have to say they are not the most honest people, you will be off work more than you will work. They make it sound like you'll be busy the entire school year but if you think about it how many times a year are school pictures taken? Only in the fall and spring, the rest of the year you'll be sitting home.
