How to improve my photography skills? |
please tell me some techniques in Portrait Photography ,Lighting ,Creating close-up pictures and so on .Thanks! please tell me some techniques in Portrait Photography ,Lighting ,Creating close-up pictures and so on .Thanks! the fastest way for humans to learn is structured learning in schools - the are popular world wide, You want the lighting to be from behind you or from one side of the subject. Try not to put/have the lighting in front of you because it will distort the image and the color. For close-ups you need a certain close-up lens or adaptor on your camera in order to get really close. But some DSLR camera are allowing people to get pretty close but for a box Digital camera you generally aren't going to be able to get that close. Practicing ,Experience, take up Photography Exam.About Portrait Photos, you need to use bounce flash with Lightsphere,if you seen a higher ceiling you need Chromedome ,so that it will give you the best results or using Studio Lighting.Creating close-up photos, you must have +2x to +10x filter to get closer to the subject ,also you need a tripod for stabilize your camera and flash. I would recommend you always attempt to keep the eyes as sharp as possible. Use smaller apertures (something like F8+) and a tripod if at all possible to maintain sufficient depth of field so that the entire face is in focus, unless intentionally wanting to induce blur caused by wide-open apertures. Learn how to properly use fill-flash to limit excessive contrast. If you are using a DSLR, set the contrast to low, with sharpening off. These things can always be added later in editing programs while too much contrast or an over sharpened image may as well be tossed into the recycle bin.
