What should my sales pitch be to market and sell portrait photography to nursery schools. I'm new.? |
Give me some examples of what my initial conversations would be making my first presentations on selling portrait photos to nursery schools. Specifically, features and benefits, and why they should invest in doing business with me. Talk about how long the company has been doing this, let them know on any important photo shots your company has participating in. And then tell that you cater to children and you have the experience in handling toddlers into seating and having fun at the same time without much hasle. Most school portraits are not very good. So, I would show them examples of your work. The problems we have had are that the child is too small in the portrait, the child is off-centered, the lighting is no good, the group pictures are lopsided because the photographer has not balanced the group, the photographer has not taken time to generate a good facial expression. So, whatever you could do to demonstrate that you can take a decent photo may be enough. "Stop slapping the kids and start snapping them" - Sally's quick snap photograpy- About 6 months ago, I started selling photos on-line in addition to other avenues to increase income (rather than leave them on my computer doing nothing) and I have been amazing at the results. While this may not answer your question perfectly, it will help to look at many outlets for your art as well.
