I am looking into getting into photography? |
Which camera is best for a begginer? Opinions are like belly buttons....everyone has one. Sweet! Photography is killer. But personally, I think, if you really are serious about starting photography, that you should start off with a film camera. It can still be a 35 mm, but start off with film, then work your way up the ladder to a digital. If you start off with a manual film camera, you will appreciate your digital canon once you get cause everything is done for you. Plus, film is much more fun. The dark rooms, but be aware of film exposure, I have exposed tons of film. But you learn from your mistakes. Go to your local camera exchange, and get a good quality film camera. Good luck man. If this is your first camera then don't spend to much money at first a kodak easy share type camera works well. As far as your choices the top one does not come with any lenses and the bottom one does they are both the same camera body. Then as you get a better eye and need more features justifying a Cannon, Sony or Nikon with feature you want to use. At that point you will need to think long term once you pick a camera, the lenses you'll keep forever and you will upgrade just the body. I would recommend Nikon D40 for a beginner. Because it has very logical menu and settings for beginner so it easy to understand the camera. I'm afraid that Canon might confuse you, especially when you are a beginner but it depends. But the bad thing about Nikon D40 is that it doesn't have no lens motor in body means non-AF-S/AF-I lenses are manual focus only (Nikon D40x has). But I highly recommend D40 because this is the camera what helped me to understand about DSLR's. Please read this link if contemplating between Canon and Nikon. They are the same camera, but you want the one with the lens. this web site helped me choosing photography equipment so hopefully it will help you. Good luck!! both should be fine, but im not 100% sure which is best or better. good luck, photography that seems really fun! getting a fancy camera dosent make you a good photographer Both are excellent :) |
