This will be my first time trying to take professional pictures, so the photographer would have to honest, patient, and not cheap, but not super expensive either.
I don't know if you are aware of it or not, but most charge more, if they think you will use it for modeling, and talk you into a bunch of crap that won't do you any good. Studio photography is pretty much cookie cutter now days. Glamour Shots in the mall can do just as good as most. Research the type of shots needed for a good portfolio (head, b&w, full, etc.) then tell them what you want when you get there. I selected models for a magazine in 1989. Many girls wasted a lot of money on portfolios due to overcharging. The person judging your pics will not give you any extra points for the photographer you use. |
