What's a good camera for professional looking pictures? |
I have a 5mp digital camera and the quality is ok. What to see if there is a better camera to use. Im into graphics and looking to get into photography. Want a camera that photographers use.Whats the price range on a camera like that and what would be a good camera? The camera you have should be good enough I my self have a samsung v5 which like yours is a 5 mega pixel and in my opinion is a grate camera it has a Schneider lens and is quite small and packed with features to answer your question though i would wait till you are a good photographer before buying a really good camera because your camera is only as good as the guy taking the pictures and it sounds like for now you have a good camera....good luck Price doesn't exactly matter, although it does help you guess how good of a camera it is. You want a camera with a great zoom and eye for detail canon rebel is in the thousands Nikon and Hasselblad http://www.hasselbladusa.com/ http://www.nikon.com/ Actually a good lens is just as important as a camera. Get a Digital SLR camera like a Nikon (my preference) or a Canon. For a Nikon or Canon SLR you can expect to spend 500 at the least, and it can go up to 5000. The Nikon 18-200mm lens is probably one of the best lenses available and it's about 750+ depending on where you look. Good luck :) Edit: I forgot to mention. Don't get sucked into the Megapixel myth. A camera with a high megapixel number does not equal a good camera. http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat... Check out Nikon's webpage. They are a leader in camera's of professional quality. The most popular digital ones are the D40 and D50. There are others as well though. You can find some good old fashioned film cameras on there site as well. For a professional quality camera, you're looking at about $1000 or so. If this is something you are going to get into, great, go for it. Otherwise play around with a cheaper camera that still has the manual controls so you can get the hang of it. Good luck. |
