Im 22, have a newborn son and wish to start a new profession. I live in england. Just wondered how do i start to go about doing this? Really would like answers from professionals in this field.
take some photography classes if they are available in your area. offer to assist working photographers. once you get a feel for the project work as a 2nd camera with other photographers. once you know you are ready to go out on your own, offer to do some "free or discounted" work to build up your portfolio and references.
